Paperwork-Only Marriage in Adelaide
A paperwork-only marriage is the simplest way to get legally married in Adelaide.
We are private celebrants, not a government service. This is a low-cost, registry-style option for couples who want the legal marriage without a full wedding.
What it is
Our paperwork-only service is a short legal marriage appointment that covers the essentials required by Australian law:
- an authorised celebrant
- both parties there in person
- two adult witnesses
- the legal words
- signing the marriage certificates
That is it. No aisle. No long ceremony. No guest-focused wedding format.
What it is not
This service is not for:
- a personalised ceremony
- a big guest list
- a styled elopement
- a full wedding with readings, music cues, and a run sheet

How the process works
- Click Get Married and fill out the booking form.
- Pay the fee.
- Prepare your NOIM using NOIM Easy.
- Have the NOIM witnessed by an authorised witness and send the paperwork in.
- Once the paperwork is received, we confirm the date, time, and place based on our availability.
- We meet each party separately in person before the marriage, as required by law.
- We do the short legal marriage and lodge the paperwork afterwards.

What you still need to do
You still need to meet the normal legal requirements:
- lodge a valid Notice of Intended Marriage
- wait at least one month unless a prescribed authority approves a shortening of time
- provide the right ID and supporting documents
- be legally free to marry
- have two adult witnesses, or use our witness service
