Our Promise: cheap, easy, helpful paperwork-only marriages in Adelaide, handled properly and explained in plain English.

Cheap, Helpful, Clear

What we do

We help couples get legally married with a low-cost, paperwork-only service.

Paperwork-only marriage

This service is for couples who want the legal marriage without the full wedding production.

Private celebrants, not government

We are a private celebrant alternative to the registry office, with a more personal and flexible process.

Clear NOIM help

Use NOIM Easy to prepare the form, then we can help you get it witnessed and lodged properly.

Dates confirmed after paperwork

You book first, then prepare the paperwork. We confirm the date, time, and place once the completed NOIM is received and we can check availability.

Witness help if needed

If you do not have two adult witnesses, our witness service can help.

Why Couples Book Us

This site is for getting married, not planning a wedding

No fuss, no frills, no wedding

We do the legal marriage. We do not do the big aisle moment, a long personal ceremony, or a guest-focused wedding production.

Affordable and low-fuss

We keep the service focused on the legal essentials so it stays affordable, cheap, and easy to understand.

Friendly plain-English help

We explain the process clearly, help with the paperwork, and point you to the right page when something is unusual.

The right fit for practical couples

If you just want to be married properly and move on with life, you are in the right place.

How the process works

Step 1: Click Get Married

Fill out the booking form and pay the fee. That tells us you want the paperwork-only service and gets the process moving.

Step 2: Prepare your NOIM

Use NOIM Easy to complete the Notice of Intended Marriage, then have it witnessed by an authorised witness. We can help if you get stuck.

Step 3: Send in the paperwork

Once we receive the completed NOIM and supporting documents, we confirm the date, time, and place based on when the paperwork arrived and what availability we have.

Step 4: Separate in-person meetings

Before the marriage, we physically meet each party separately in person, as required by the Marriage Act.

Step 5: Get married

On the day, both parties, the celebrant, and two adult witnesses are physically present. We say the legal words, sign the certificates, and you are married.

Step 6: We lodge the paperwork

After the marriage, we lodge the registration paperwork in South Australia. Once it is registered, you can order the official marriage certificate.

Planning a paperwork-only marriage in Adelaide

What The Law Requires

Legal essentials

These are the main rules that matter for a paperwork-only marriage.

One month notice

The NOIM must be lodged at least one month before the marriage unless a prescribed authority approves a shortening of time.

In person only

The marriage itself cannot happen online. Both parties, the celebrant, and two adult witnesses must be physically present.

ID and supporting documents

You will need proof of date and place of birth, photo ID, and any divorce, death, or name-change documents that apply.

Real consent

Both people must understand what marriage means and freely agree to it.

Who can marry

Usually both people must be 18 or older. In limited cases, one person aged 16 or 17 may marry with a court order and the required consents.

Translations and interpreters

If documents are not in English, or if either party needs language support, tell us early so we can sort it out properly.
